Bench Warrant Reportedly Issued for Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin

If you're shopping for a Christmas present for Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin, might we suggest a good lawyer.  A judge has reportedly issued a bench warrant for the 41-year-old singer after he failed to appear in court last Thursday for a hearing related to last year's cocaine possession case, according toTMZ

It's becoming difficult to keep track of Scantlin's encounters with the law, but you may recall he was charged with felony cocaine possession in April of last year following a February, 2012 traffic stop.  In July of 2012, Scantlin pleaded guilty to cocaine possession in exchange for a deferred sentence on condition that he enroll in a rehab program and check in regularly with the court.  Last Thursday's allegedly missed date is related to that case.

Mind you, since the cocaine charge, Scantlin's been arrested at least three times on unrelated charges, but has managed to remain a free man.  So far, there's no public statement from Scantlin on the reported bench warrant.
